We use photos and videos to tell the story of what God is doing at Christ Church. This allows us to stream our services, celebrate our ministries, and give first-time guests a feel for what to expect before they walk through our doors. It’s all part of being a church for those not here yet.
How we use photos and videos
We stream and record nearly every service, and we often capture photos and videos at ministry events and programs. We may use these on our website, social media, email, print materials, and ads. By taking part in Christ Church activities, you’re giving us permission to use photos and videos that include you, unless you’ve submitted a Media Opt-Out Form.
We will never share a child’s or student’s name or other identifying details in our photos or videos, and we’ll edit out any visible name tags. We won’t knowingly post anything that could be embarrassing or hurtful. If you see a photo or video of yourself or your child that you’d like taken down, email communications@christchurchmequon.org and we’ll gladly remove it.
Opting out
Everyone is welcome to opt out. If you’d rather that you, your children, or a child or adult in your care not be prominently featured in Christ Church photos and videos, fill out our Media Opt-Out Form. Please include a photo of each person so our team can recognize them. Crowd shots and our livestream may still capture you or your family in the background, but we won’t feature you.
